Ethmar's founding activity. We import and export foodstuff products across a network of international trade partners spanning Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
We work with traders, factories, wholesale distributors, supermarkets, and restaurants as both buyers and suppliers.

2. Foodstuff Trading
Beyond import and export, Ethmar is an active foodstuff trader within Egypt — sourcing, distributing, and selling a wide range of food products to a diverse customer base.

3. Retail — Supermarket Operations
Ethmar operates two supermarkets in Egypt, giving the company direct experience in consumer-facing retail, product ranging, supplier management, and store operations.
This retail experience is directly relevant to Ethmar's franchise expansion ambitions — the operational muscle for managing multi-location consumer businesses is already in place.

4. Food Service — Restaurant Operations
Ethmar has established and operates a restaurant in Egypt, providing hands-on experience in food service operations, customer experience management, and food handling compliance.
This positions Ethmar as an operator — not just a trader — when discussing franchise opportunities in the food and beverage sector.
5. Food Processing Development
Ethmar is currently developing a food processing factory, intended to support the processing and packaging of french fries, vegetables, and smoked fish.
This facility, once operational, will strengthen Ethmar's vertical integration and increase its ability to supply processed food products to its existing retail, food service, and trading customers.

6. Real Estate & Physical Assets
The Ethmar ownership group has accumulated a physical asset base in Egypt that includes commercial offices, land, retail units, and restaurant facilities.
These assets provide the company with financial stability, collateral capacity, and — importantly — access to suitable commercial locations for franchise rollout.
